Castle De Berckt is a historic estate dating back to the 12th century, rebuilt in Italian style. It consists of an old monastery and a charming farmhouse, with a large hall hosting a full program from early morning until late in the evening. There are also several smaller rooms where workshops run throughout the day. This creates a flexible space where you can choose where to join in, day after day. You can fill your day with one deep session after another, or vary it: from a physically challenging yoga set to a deeply relaxing nidra session. Or you might retreat to your room or the meditation space, take a walk along the Maas, or join a high-vibration group energy—the possibilities are endless.
There are over 400 beds, mostly in rooms for 3 or 4 people. If you’d like a double room, book an upgrade quickly as these are very popular. If you’re coming with two or three friends, let us know via the contact page so we can book you in the same room.
From Utrecht, it’s about a 1.5-hour drive to Baarlo. There is plenty of free parking available. Of course, traveling by public transport is preferred: the train goes to Venlo, from where you can continue by bus to Baarlo.
