These terms and conditions apply to all participants, co-creators, suppliers, and other parties involved in the White Light Festival, organized by White Light B.V.

2. Tickets & Access

Tickets are only valid with proof of payment.

Ticket types include:

  • Full festival tickets
  • Day tickets
  • Co-creator tickets (50% or 100% discount)

Tickets are personal.

The organization reserves the right to refuse or revoke access in cases of inappropriate behavior, violation of house rules, or use of alcohol or drugs (see Article 6).

3. Cancellation by Participant

Until November 1, 2025: 75% refund

Between November 1 and December 15, 2025: 50% refund

After December 15, 2025: no refund

Tickets can be transferred to another person if notified in advance via email.

In case of a no-show without transfer, the participant may contact the organization. If possible, the ticket can be resold and partial refund provided.

4. Cancellation or Changes by the Organization
The organization reserves the right to cancel or adjust the festival or parts of it in case of force majeure (such as natural disasters, pandemics, government measures, or cancellation of artists or teachers). In the event of cancellation, a suitable alternative or partial refund will be offered. The organization is not liable for consequential damages.

5. Program Changes
In case of a workshop, speaker, or teacher cancellation, an equivalent alternative will be offered in line with the original theme or intention. No rights can be derived from this.

6. Code of Conduct and Safety

The use of alcohol and drugs is strictly prohibited on the entire festival site.

Participants who violate this rule may be denied access without the right to a refund.

Respect, safety, and openness are core values of the festival. Intimidating or boundary-crossing behavior is not tolerated.

7. Accommodation and Facilities

Only participants with a valid accommodation ticket may stay overnight on-site.

Co-creators and teachers stay at their own expense or with a discount via their ticket.

Each participant is responsible for their personal belongings and for using the location respectfully.

8. Security & Video Surveillance

Security personnel and surveillance cameras are present on the festival grounds.

These are solely for the safety of all attendees.

Camera footage is only reviewed in case of incidents or at the request of authorities.

Participants remain responsible for their own belongings.

9. Identification Requirement
Participants must be able to show a valid ID upon request by the organization or security. This may also be kept in their room.

10. Prohibited Items

Weapons, fireworks, alcohol, drugs, or glassware are not allowed on the festival grounds.

Spiritual and ritual items such as malas, crystals, feathers, or instruments are welcome.

Items that may be considered dangerous or boundary-crossing (e.g., ceremonial knives or swords) may only be brought with explicit permission from the organization. If in doubt, email info@whitelightfestival.nl.

11. Photography & Marketing

Photographers may be present during the festival to capture atmosphere shots.

These images may be used for marketing purposes (social media, flyers, website).

If you do not want to appear in photos, please notify us in advance via info@whitelightfestival.nl.

12. Complaints and Feedback

For dissatisfaction or complaints, participants may contact info@whitelightfestival.nl.

The organization will handle complaints with care and attention.

13. Accessibility for Persons with Disabilities

Kasteel De Berckt is wheelchair-accessible and has several elevators. Some rooms are on the ground floor or accessible by elevator.

Participants with mobility limitations can notify their situation in advance via info@whitelightfestival.nl, so accommodations can be made.

14. Final Provisions

In cases not covered by these terms, the organization decides.

Dutch law applies to these terms and conditions.

The court in Utrecht has jurisdiction in case of disputes.
